New Delhi: A massive offer of £650,000 per week has apparently been made to Casemiro to quit Manchester United and join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr. The defensive midfielder may depart the Red Devils halfway through the current season to sign with the Riyadh-based team, according to GIVEMESPORT. Michael Emenalo, the league’s sports director, is driving the move because he wants to make the Brazilian one of the highest paid players in the Saudi Pro League and add his “world-class” talent to Al-Nassr’s all-star team.

In August 2022, Casemiro moved from Real Madrid to Manchester United for a hefty £70 million ($88 million) transfer price. However, rumors of a possible exit have been stoked by uncertainty regarding his long-term future under current manager Ruben Amorim. The Brazilian international makes almost £450,000 a week under his current contract with United, which includes generous bonuses. But with just 18 months left on his contract, his market value has dropped, and if Manchester United decides to let him go in January, they are apparently willing to take a sum of about £25 million ($31.25 million).

A possible re-union of former Real Madrid stars?

Al-Nassr is keen to move the talks along quickly as the Saudi team hopes to sign the midfield player before the February 3 transfer window deadline, even if certain sources indicate Casemiro is more likely to depart Manchester United at the end of the current campaign. Despite the fact that the clubs have not held any formal talks, Al-Nassr’s administration is optimistic that their attractive offer will persuade Casemiro to visit Al-Awwal Park before current window closes.

A transfer to Al-Nassr would provide Casemiro with the exceptional chance to rejoin Ronaldo, with whom he had great success at Real Madrid. They won a lot of titles together, including four Champions League crowns, so the idea of working together again is alluring. All eyes will be on the Brazilian as the winter transfer season nears its closing weeks to see if he accepts the generous offer and leaves Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo could be reunited with his former Real Madrid teammate Casemiro as Al Nassr reportedly target the Manchester United midfielder.  Football Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
