The company revealed that the rankings are based on more than one billion reviews and opinions posted on the site. The website aims to highlight destinations that have received the highest ratings and reviews from international travellers over the past year. Additionally, the rankings incorporate insights from individuals with firsthand travel experiences.
Among the numerous categories, Delhi has been included in the “Best Culture Destinations” list. According to Tripadvisor, this list honours destinations renowned for their vibrant arts scenes and rich cultural heritage, inspiring travellers worldwide.
The website describes Delhi’s “chaotic and colourful” characteristics, highlighting popular spots such as Chandni Chowk market, Hauz Khas Village, and Lodi Colony. The website further states, “The capital city and its surroundings boast a remarkable history, as evidenced by the sheer number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.”
