New Delhi: Indian Railways witnesses a huge rush during the Diwali season as a huge number of people flock to their hometown to celebrate the festivals of lights with their dear ones. It is very hard to get a train ticket during the Diwali festival, especially on the New Delhi to Howrah route, which is considered to be a busy railway route round the year. Diwali will be celebrated on November 1, 2024.
Thousands of people try to book train tickets on IRCTC website and app on the ‘Opening day booking’, i.e., 120th day in advance, excluding the date of journey. IRCTC says that the ‘Opening day’ means 120 days in advance of the date of journey (journey date will not be included) from train originating station.
HOWRAH RAJDHANI 12302
30th October: No tickets available in Third Ac, Second AC and First AC.
31st october: Tickets available in the RAC category in Third and Second AC class. No tickets available in First AC and the Waiting List is 1.
SEALDAH RAJDHANI 12314
October 30, 2024: No tickets available in Third Ac, Waiting List is 104. There are no tickets available in Second AC and First AC class as well.
October 31: Tickets available in Third AC and Second AC, but in RAC category. In First AC, the Waiting List is 1.
SAMPARK KRANTI EXPRESS 12330
Sampark Kranti Express will depart from Delhi to Howarh on October 30, 2024. However, there are no tickets available in Sleeper (SL), AC 3 Tier (3A), AC 2 Tier (2A), and AC First Class (1A).
POORVA EXPRESS (12304)
Poorva Express which will depart from New Delhi Railway Station at 5:30 pm on October 30, 2024 is already full and there are no tickets in Sleeper (SL), AC 3 Tier, AC 2 Tier (2A) and AC First Class (1A). The express which will also depart from NDLS on October 31 has no tickets available in the particular date as well.
NETAJI EXPRESS 12312
NETAJI EXPRESS departs from Adarsh Nagar Delhi Railway Station at 4:44 am and reaches Howrah Junction at 8:05 am. There are no train tickets available in Sleeper (SL), AC 3 Tier (3A), AC 2 Tier (2A) and AC First Class (1A) on October 30 and 31.
