New Delhi: The national capital woke up to a humid morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 29.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal.

Safdarjung, the city’s primary weather station, recorded 2.7 mm of rain, Ridge recorded 37.2 mm, the Palam observatory recorded 31.8 mm, Delhi University recorded 38 mm, and Pusa recorded 35 mm of rainfall in the 24-hour period from 8.30 am on July 15 to 8.30 am on July 16.
The weather department has predicted a generally cloudy sky with light rain.
The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 36 degrees Celsius.
