Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are grappling with difficulties in hiring new staff. A recent claim from a source close to the couple alleges that Meghan Markle’s behavior has been a significant factor in the high turnover rate among their staff.
According to Hollywood Reporter, the insider describes the Duchess of Sussex as a “dictator in high heels,” claiming that she instills fear in her employees through her harsh demeanor.
“Everyone’s terrified of Meghan. She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice,” the source revealed. The insider further criticized both Harry and Meghan as “poor decision-makers” who frequently change their minds, with Harry being labeled as an enabler and Meghan described as “relentless.”
The couple has seen a high turnover of staff in recent years. Notably, Meghan’s private secretary and top aide resigned in 2021, and their chief of staff, Josh Kettler, left in August after just three months. Toya Holness, their global press secretary, departed in 2022. These frequent changes have raised questions about the couple’s internal management.
In 2018, Buckingham Palace launched an investigation into allegations of mistreatment by Meghan Markle towards two royal aides. Although the results of the investigation were never publicly disclosed, Markle has previously dismissed these claims as part of a “calculated smear campaign.”
Despite these challenges, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, continue to reside in Montecito, California.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry recently shared his excitement about turning 40, describing fatherhood as a profound joy that has given him a new perspective on life.
