‘Dusty Chairs, Broken Seats’: Pak Man Shares Glimpses of ‘World’s Most Dangerous’ Flight | WATCH

Islamabad: A video surfaced on social media, in which a traveler can be seen showing glimpses of a Pakistani Airline, PIA’s flight in plight condition.

Pakistani social media user and traveler, Ali Khan, shared a video offering a glimpse into ‘what it’s like to fly with PIA’ while travelling to Skardu, a hill station in Gilgit-Baltistan. In the Instagram video, Khan described his experience on ‘one of the most dangerous flights in the world’ and asked his followers, ‘Would you fly on this route?’

The European Union banned Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in 2020, due to concerns about Pakistan’s ability to meet international aviation standards.

The video shows Khan boarding the flight and being informed by the cabin crew that recording was not permitted. Once seated, he highlighted various issues, including dust-filled gaps on the chair, a broken seat handle, and a duct-taped overhead bin. Despite these issues, Khan noted that the pilot was engaging and shared interesting facts about Skardu with the passengers.

In the caption, Khan wrote about Pakistan‘s troubled reputation and the impact of PIA’s European ban. He mentioned that, despite this, he chose to fly with PIA after more than a decade to visit the Northern Areas of Pakistan, which he described as a bucket-list destination. Khan expressed his excitement about sharing the experience with his followers.

An individual wrote, ‘Pakistan Airlines? I would never even consider, let alone get anywhere near one of their planes.’Another Instagram user, Cristiano Masi, commented, ‘I flew PIA in 1988 from Rome to Malé stopover in Athens and changing plane in Karachi. On the way back, we flew from Karachi on a 747 with only three motors over 4. We discovered it when the plane had to land in Dubai for reparation. They actually didn’t so we stop in Athens for good. Man, what a journey’
