Washington: With just two days remaining for the 2024 US Presidential election, the race for the White House is extremely tight. Former President Donald Trump , running as the Republican candidate, is locked in a close contest with Vice President and Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris, particularly in the crucial swing states.
Several surveys so far indicate that Kamala Harris has a slight lead over Trump, while many others suggest there is almost no difference in their polling numbers, leading analysts to hesitate in making any predictions.
The outcome on Election Day will hinge on seven key states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have focused their campaigns heavily on these states.
Collectively, they are expected to provide the Electoral College votes necessary for the winning candidate to secure a majority of 270.

“Nobody knows where the other guy is. Where the hell is he? Where is Biden?…They call me a threat to democracy. They stole the election from this guy. They walked in, they said, get out of here, Joe. You’re dead. You have to tell Kamala that you’ve had enough. You’re the worst ever. Kamala, you’re fired. Get the hell out of here…” Trump said.
Harris Makes Sudden Appearance At ‘Saturday Night Live’ Show
Meanwhile Harris made a sudden appearance at the TV Show ‘Saturday Night Live show’ and received criticism for it.
She made a brief appearance during the cold open of the show as a mirror image of Rudolph’s Harris, following a sketch that humorously recapped recent campaign events.
Nine years ago, Trump was featured on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, where he interviewed himself. In that segment, actor Gary Busey portrayed Trump, and the two sat across from each other at a vanity, reminiscent of the setup in Harris’ SNL skit, as reported by The Guardian.
Trump’s performance served as a cold open for Fallon’s show, just like the Vice President’s appearance was a cold open for a different program. Both shows are hosted by the same network—NBC.
