New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting her historic 8th Union Budget on Saturday and did it in pure grace by choosing to wear a special off-white coloured saree in an ode to Bihar’s Madhubani art. Her attire grabbed attention as soon as she stepped out of her vehicle at the Finance Ministry at the North Block before presenting the Budget 2025 in Parliament.
For Budget 2025, she chose an elegant cream saree with a traditional gold border, paired with a contrasting red blouse. Her minimalist accessories, including gold bangles, a chain, and earrings, complemented the ensemble beautifully.

In 2023, she chose a red saree featuring a symmetrical black geometric pattern with golden accents. The 2022 Budget saw her embrace warm tones with a blend of brownish-red shades, while the terracotta palette was enhanced by elephant motifs near the pallu.
