New Delhi: With an aim to elevate the fielding standards, former Indian fielding coach R Sridhar will conduct a detailed 10-day program for all the Sri Lankan cricketers at different levels from Wednesday. The decision was announced by the country’s cricket board on Tuesday saying that this was being done to better the fielding standards of the Asian country’s cricketers.
Sridhar, who is a BCCI Level 3 coach, has a plenty of experience and will be involved with the Lankan men’s and women’s national squads, emerging squads, premier club player, the women’s A team and the Under-19 team. Sri Lankan side has made this effort to take the fielding level of the players uphill which has been not up to the mark since a long period of time.
