Paris: A massive fire broke out on the roof of a building in Paris’ 13th arrondissement near Porte d’Ivry on Wednesday, after two gas cylinders exploded, as per the local media report Le Parisien.
Parisien stated that the six-story building was under construction when the incident occurred at around 4:45 pm (local time).
Furthermore, three additional gas cylinders were present on the roof, continuing the risk of fire.
All residents were evacuated as a precaution amid the incident. However, one worker sustained injuries while a firefighter suffered moderate injuries while responding to the blaze.
According to Jerome Coumet, mayor of the 13th arrondissement of the French capital, the fire was brought under control at around 07.00 pm local time.
