The annualised returns generated by Franklin India Flexicap Fund in SIPs over the past 10 years can be summarised in the following manner:

  • One year: 7.33%
  • Two years: 16.51%
  • Three years: 19.95%
  • Five years: 20.75%
  • Ten years: 16.75%

As on June 4, an SIP of Rs 1,000 that began five years ago have turned into Rs 100513.44 while the same SIP begun 10 years ago have turned into Rs 289102.33.

Lump sum returns

The annualised returns on lump sum investment recorded by Franklin India Flexicap Fund stood thus:

  • Two years: 25.01%
  • Three years: 21.42%
  • Five years: 26.87%
  • Ten years: 14.08%
  • Since inception (Sept 29, 1994): 18.03%

What the last returns signify is that Rs 1 lakh invested in the scheme on the first day would have ballooned to Rs 1.62 crore.
