A french man, who was accused of drugging his wife and inviting strangers to rape her for several years, has said “he’s a rapist”, during a court hearing.
The man identified as Dominique Pelicot during the hearing in the French court admitted his crime and said, “I admit to the charges in their entirety.”
“I am a rapist just like all others in this room,” the 71-year-old Dominique Pelicot said in the court. The accused according to report invited at least 50 strangers for several years to rape his wife after drugging her.
Reports further said that the man used to give instructions to the strangers about things to be followed before they perform the inhuman acts. The couple has been married for decades and have three children. The accused used to add a powerful drug in her food that would made her unconscious. In the court, the accused admitted to the charges saying his wife didn’t deserve this.
The victim after hearing her ex-husband’s arguments in the court said that for 5 decades, she lived with a man with whom she could have never imagined for a single second that he can do this to her. “I had full faith in him,” the victim added.
Her ex-husband who already admitted to the crime in the court once again said that he was guilty and regret it. “I ask for forgiveness even if it is not forgivable.”
