New Delhi: India and Australia are set to lock horns in a blockbuster five-match Test series in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India captain Rohit Sharma is likely to miss the first Test and Shubman Gill is also ruled out of the opening Test due to a fractured thumb. There will be extra responsibility on the likes of Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal to score the majority of runs for the team.
As per the reports, KL Rahul is set to open for India in the first Test while Dhruv Jurel will also be included in the playing XI and Nitish Kumar Reddy is set to make his Test debut.
