New Delhi: A shocking video of actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna recently surfaced online, showing him pushing actress Anjali onstage. The short clip appears to be from a pre-release event of the upcoming Telugu movie, titled Gangs of Godavari, and it is now receiving massive criticism online.
In the viral visuals, the 63-year-old star suddenly pushed Anjaly away. Although the actress took it in good spirits and laughed it off, Neha Shetty was caught on the camera visibly stunned by the unexpected gesture. Directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the action drama is scheduled to be released in theatres on May 31, 2024. It features South star Vishwak Sen as the lead. The flick also stars Nassar, P Sai Kumar, Hyper Aadi, Madhunandan, Praveen, Goparaju Ramana and Prudhvi Raj Palaparthi in supporting roles.
The flick has been produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the man behind the composition of its soundtrack and background score. The storyline of Gangs Of Godavari revolves around thugs and politics in the 1980s era, set in the Eluru and Godavari coastal regions of India.
