New Delhi: After gracing the cover pages of number of Australia newspapers and tabloids in the past few days, Indian batting star Virat Kohli continues to dominate and be in the news as the Australian media seems to be totally in awe of the Indian batting maestro. Kohli featured on the cover pages of the Sydney Morning Herald and Perth-based tabloid the West Australia Sport as Australia is entangled in Kohliwood.
On Saturday, pictures circulated on social media which displayed the ‘Goat’ of world cricket featuring on the page for the Sunday edition of a Australian newspaper. While the name of the newspaper or tabloid is not clear but it seems like its the West Australian newspaper which has designed a special page for Virat Kohli. The page at the bottom mentions GOAT in capital letters with a line: How trailblazing Kohli completely changed cricket.
The kind of coverage Virat Kohli is getting in the Australian media is something that hasn’t been witnessed earlier for any other Indian cricketer.

Virat Kohli’s form a big concern
While the batting superstar continues to be in the headlines of Australian newspapers, but his struggling form is a big concern ahead of the crucial BGT. Kohli hasn’t been able to express his class with the bat in the current year especially in the longest format of the game, where he was considered a pro. While in the T20Is and ODIs, he has some runs in his kitty this calendar year but his Test performance has been worrying.
In the last home Test series against New Zealand, the star batter could not put a really good show, accumulating less than 90 runs in 6 innings. While the entire world is waiting to see Kohli mania again, time will only tell that how he fares in the all-important series.
