US Secret Service Director A Cheatle addressed inquiries raised by GOP Representative Virginia Foxx, who queried whether President Joe Biden’s family recommended her for the position. Foxx referenced media reports suggesting involvement from First Lady Jill Biden, due to Cheatle’s previous role in her security detail during Joe Biden’s vice presidency.
“I got the job as the director of the Secret Service because I spent 27 years at an agency with a mission that I absolutely love,” Cheatle stated.
