Grand 11-Day Maha Yagna Held in Telangana for Kamala Harris’s US Presidential Victory

Bhadradri Kothagudem: In a unique show of support for US Vice President Kamala Harris, the Shyamala Gopalan Foundation has organized an 11-day Maha Yagna in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana. The yagna, officially named the “Sri Raja Shyamalamba Sahita Shata Chandi Purvaka Sudarshana Maha Yagam,” is intended to pray for Harris’s success in the upcoming US Presidential Elections.

Thousands Gather in Support of Harris

The grand ritual, held at H Convention in Palvancha, features over 40 Vedic pandits, with thousands of supporters gathering to witness the sacred rites each day. The ritual has seen crowds of up to 7,000 people participating in prayers, with the foundation also providing meals to around 500-1,000 people daily as part of the event’s activities.

Organizers Note Growing Support for Harris

Nalla Suresh Reddy, founder of the Shyamala Gopalan Educational Foundation, highlighted the positive response from the public and attributed growing support for Harris to the ongoing ritual. He noted, “Whatever will happen, will happen by the grace of God. Today is the 10th day of the yagya. We saw that due to the ritual, Harris’s support base increased. We want Harris to win.”

Ritual Culminates with Final Purnahuti

The ceremony, which started 11 days ago, concludes today with the performance of “Purnahuti,” marking the final offering to complete the ritual. Reddy shared his hopes, saying, “India is widely seen as a Hindu nation. By keeping our faith in the religion, we are hoping that Harris will win the elections.”

Kamala Harris’s Historic Candidacy

Kamala Harris, whose mother hailed from India, was born in Oakland, California, and is the first woman, first Black, and first Asian American to serve as US Vice President. Her historic presidential candidacy follows her nomination after President Joe Biden stepped down, citing age-related concerns after his last debate with Donald Trump . Harris, now leading the Democratic race, has championed policies supporting women’s abortion rights, immigration reform, and economic opportunity. If elected on November 5, she would make history as the first female president of the United States.

A High-Stakes Showdown Against Donald Trump

Harris’s opponent, former President Donald Trump, is seeking a return to the White House after his 2020 defeat, marking a high-stakes showdown. As Harris rallies support across key issues, this unique display of spiritual backing from India highlights her global support base.
