New Delhi: Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh was recently spotted with legendary captain MS Dhoni at a party, months after claiming that they don’t talk to each other. Harbhajan Singh in an interview with News 18 said that he doesn’t speak with the former skipper.
“When I was playing at CSK, that’s when we spoke, but otherwise, we haven’t spoken. It’s been 10 years and more. I have no reason; perhaps he does. I don’t know what the reasons are. When we were playing in the IPL at CSK, that’s when we used to talk and that, too, was restricted to the ground” Harbhajan told News18.
But, recently he was spotted with MS Dhoni at a party and a video of their meeting has gone viral on social media. In the video, the former India captain was seen engaging in a conversation with Harbhajan and even helped him to pull a chair. The viral video has left fans confused as Harbhajan often claimed to not have cordial relations with Dhoni. But the viral video of both attending a party paints a completely different picture.

Harbhajan played 212 matches along with Dhoni across all three formats. The former spinner also played 133 matches under Dhoni’s captaincy and played a key role in India’s victory in the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup. Apart from that, Harbhajan also played under his leader in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2018 and 2019.

Apart from Harbhajan, Yuvraj Singh also said that he and Dhoni are not good friends. Dhoni and Yuvraj were known for their on-field camaraderie as they shared many memorable partnerships which helped the team to win numerous matches. The wicketkeeper batter will be once again seen playing for the Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming season of the IPL. Dhoni was retained by CSK for Rs 4 Crore as an uncapped player.
