1 cup (240ml) Heavy cream
6 Egg yolks
1/2 cup (100g) Sugar
Pinch of Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/4 cup (60ml) Cognac, Whisky, Bourbon, or Rum (optional)
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon Cloves

In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until light, thick, and fluffy. Set aside.
In a saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Heat over medium until it reaches a simmer.
