Paneer Thecha is one of her favourite recipes that she relies on most of the time home, it is easy to prepare, requires minimal ingredients and is full of flavours along with nutrients of clean eating. In her recently opened, Scarlett House in Mumbai too, the actress has added the dish to the menu making it a iconic hit for the world to try.
A spicy, rustic Maharashtrian-inspired dish elevated with cottage cheese, it’s the perfect fusion of tradition and fitness-friendly indulgence.
Thecha Paneer recipe
Ingredients:
- 10-12 green chillies 8-10 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 250g paneer
- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
- Pinch of turmeric
- Salt as needed
- Fresh coriander for garnish
How to prepare:
- Take a pan and roast green chillies along with garlic in hot oil.
- Let it cool, and blend coarsely with roasted peanuts and salt.
- Now in a pan, heat ghee and saute paneer with turmeric and pinch of salt and cook until golden brown.
- Add the freshly made thecha to the sautéed paneer and mix well.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes on low heat to let the flavours infuse.
