- 200–250 g paneer, crumbled
- 1 tbsp oil or ghee
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
- 1–2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

- Crumble the paneer in a bowl and soak it in warm water for 10 minutes.
- Take a non-stick pan and add oil along with cumin seeds to splutter.
- Add chopped onion and saute until golden brown. Now add ginger-garlic paste and let it cook.

- Cook well until the tomatoes are soft.
- Gently mix the paneer and let it cook for 5 minutes.
