Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2025-26. The middle class and the taxpayers are hoping for a major relief in tax slabs and deductions and exemptions. With the Indian economy staring at a slowdown, the government may also want to give out more money in the hands of consumers in order to give a boost to the economy. In this budget, taxpayers are expecting that government may make annual income of Rs 10 lakh tax free. There is also expectation that the other tax slabs in New Tax Regimes may also be changed between annual income of Rs 15 lakh and 20 lakh.
