New Delhi: After a blazing start to the T20I series, India would like to continue their remarkable form when they take on South Africa in the second T20I match on Sunday. In the first encounter at Durban on Friday, Sanju Samson and spinners shined for Men in Blue as they registered a massive 61-run victory over the Proteas to start the series on a positive note.
The win came as a big relief for the Indian team which recently suffered humiliation in the home Test series against New Zealand. Meanwhile, Samson, who smashed his second consecutive century in the T20Is, becoming the first Indian batter to do so, dominated the Proteas bowling attack right from the beginning, thrashing them all across the park.
By virtue of his 107-run knock, India accumulated a high score of 202 in 20 overs and then a superlative bowling effort from the spinners restricted the Kiwis, powering the visitors to a big victory. As far as the playing XI for the second match is concerned, India should go with the winning team and not make any exclusions.
