New Delhi: After an emphatic victory in the five-match T20I series, Team India would want to continue the winning momentum against England in the ODI series as well, which begins in Nagpur on Thursday. The first ODI of the three-match series will take place at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium on February 6 and all eyes would be on skipper Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli’s performance in the 50-over format.
This ODI series is the final preparation for both the sides before the marquee ICC Champions Trophy 2025 begins on February 19. For India, there will changes in the playing XI as the likes of Kohli, Rohit and senior batter KL Rahul will mark their return in the ODIs while for the English side, it will be all about bouncing back after a 1-4 thrashing at the hands of the hosts earlier in the month.
The senior members of the Indian team would be keen to make an impact which they have failed to do in the last few months while the England side would be keen to improve their mistakes and come out with flying colours.
