New Delhi: Royals Challengers Bengaluru continued their impressive form on the road, as they defeated five-time champions Mumbai Indians by 12 runs in an IPL 2025 game on Monday.
It was the first time since 2015 that RCB defeated MI at the Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai won the toss and opted to bowl and were belted all around the ground as RCB posted 221/5.
In their chase, Mumbai made a valiant late dash to reach their target but were stopped at 209/9 to go down for the fourth time in their opening five matches.
Mumbai are eighth in the standings while after their thrid win in four matches, RCB are third with six points, having won all their away matches so far in the tournament.
