New Delhi: Passengers who are going to book train tickets starting on November 1 will notice a change, a big one that will affect the travel schedule. From the above-mentioned date, while booking train tickets in the Indian Railways, the advance reservation period (ARP) has been reduced from 120 days to 60 days.
It means that if anyone is going to book tickets three months in advance, the person will not be able to do so. However, according to reports, those who have already booked tickets in advance beyond the 60-day period will not be affected. How to book tickets in IRCTC?

There, you have to enter the destination and the boarding station and fill out all the details including the date of the journey. According to the rules of the tatkal ticket booking, the charges of tatkal are determined as a percentage of the fare at the rate of 10 per cent of the basic fare for class II. For all other classes, the basic fare is 30 per cent subject to a prescribed minimum and maximum.
