New Delhi: UFC revealed the new custom fight shorts for UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis and Israel Adesanya on August 13, Tuesday. Du Plessis will defend his middleweight title against two-time middleweight champion Adesanya. Both the fighters have a heated faceoff in the press conference and their rivalry is also firing up as Du Plessis made a statement that he is in Adesanya’s head before the mega-fight.

Adesanya is making his comeback after a year and will become the first three-time middleweight champion. ‘The Last Stylebender’ was out of action for more than a year which was the longest layoff in his professional career. He was out of action because he lost his middleweight title to Sean Strickland and was constantly fighting in recent years.
Du Plessis captured the middleweight title after defeating Strickland in UFC 297 by split decision and became the first African UFC Champion. Du Plessis is still undefeated in his UFC career and will be defending his belt for the first time. The UFC 305 is schedule to take place in Australia.
Du Plessis’s former opponent tells Adesanya how to beat the champ
Daren Till former opponent of Du Plessis advised him before the fight that he could use these tactics and beat Du Plessis. Till told Du Plessis reacts so much and throws so many punches that he will be exhausted early in the fight and Adesanya can use his leg kicks or either go with a punch combo to knock him down.
Till fought with Du Plessis in UFC 282 in 2022, where Du Plessis submitted Till in the third round. Adesanya will aim to use his more leg kicks and wanted to return in style in the octagon.
