Deir Al-Balah: The Israeli military on Wednesday, October 3, has warned people to evacuate another 24 villages across southern Lebanon amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, AP reported.
This warning comes days after the military launched what it said were limited ground operations near the border to combat the Hezbollah terrorist group.
The villages are in a UN-declared buffer zone established after Israel and Hezbollah fought their last war in 2006.

Amid the Middle East tensions, Spain has urged all its nationals in Lebanon to evacuate the region as soon as possible. The country will be sending two military aircraft to Lebanon on Thursday that can carry as many as 350 people, Spanish Defence Minister Margarita Robels said.
“The Spanish airplanes are ready, the staff are ready, as always with the professionalism of the Spanish army,” the defence minster said in an interview with Antena 3 TV Station.
France Sends Military Assets to the Middle East
France announced that it is deploying additional military resources to the Middle East in response to the Iranian threat. The move comes as Tehran launched a missile barrage against Israel, prompting France to call for a United Nations Security Council meeting later in the day.
“Committed to Israel’s security, France today mobilised its military resources in the Middle East to counter the Iranian threat,” the French presidency said in a statement.
“The head of state also reiterated France’s demand that Hezbollah cease its terrorist actions against Israel and its population.”
