‘I don’t recommend it’:Jasprit Bumrah on kids copying his action

After the match, Bumrah talked about kids copying his bowling action and said that he don’t recommend it to them. He also said that as a kid he was also a fan of fast bowling and learned it through watching television.

“I don’t know how to react to that. But you know, when I was a kid, I used to. I was a fan of fast bowling. I learned through watching the television. I fell in love with the sport by that. Now, sometimes when I see children trying to copy my action, I don’t recommend it. But you know, sometimes it is what it is. You get inspired by something and you try and find your own way. I’m very happy to create an impact whenever I can,” Jasprit Bumrah said on Jio Cinema.

Bumrah further added that he tries to give his absolute best and doesn’t go too high with the praises. He also said he tries to focus on his skills and wants to play for India as long as he can.

“I try to give my absolute best. Other than that, whatever is the narrative. I don’t control the narrative. I don’t go too high with the praises. I don’t go too low, you know when challenges come my way. So playing for India. No complaints. And I want to give my best for as long as I can” he added.
