New Delhi: Former co-owner of Rajasthan Royals Raj Kundra has announced plans of revealing instances of financial irregularities made by a key promoter of the Indian Super League (ISL) franchise.
Through a post on social media, Kundra said he would release evidence of financial misconduct, offshore money laundering, and hidden transactions at a press conference on Monday, June 2.
On his official Linkedin profile, Kundra said: “I will soon be releasing documented evidence exposing serious financial misconduct, money laundering through offshore structures and hidden transactions involving a key promoter of the Rajasthan Royals.
“This includes willful suppression of co-promoter rights and entitlements, pattern of deceit and manipulation in shareholder dealings. The truth will be shared soon, and the documents will speak for themselves.”
His post included an image that had the words ‘Karma Bol’, in which the Board of Control for Cricket in India was tagged.

Kundra, husband of Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty also claimed to have evidence of deliberate suppression of co-promoter rights.
Together with his wife, they had invested $15.4 million to buy an 11.7% stake in Rajasthan Royals in 2009.
But after Rajasthan were implicated in a 2013 IPL betting scandal and suspended for two years, following which their association with the franchise ended in 2015 after Kundra was banned from conducting any cricket-related activities.
Kundra’s announcement comes close on the heels of the trailer release of The Traitors, a new reality series on Amazon Prime Video in which he takes part as a contestant.
Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar will host the series that premiers on June 12.
Kundra’s disclosure could be another damaging blow for the Royals, who had a poor IPL 2025 campaign. They finished ninth among 10 teams in the points table.
They won only four of their 14 league stage matches and failed to qualify for the play-offs.
