A lot of the players will be heading into the season in great form, with some players who have been a few players who continued their domestic form in the Euros as well.

With just a few weeks to go, the tournament has already started gaining huge traction from fans. The previous season was very competitive, with quite the top scorer remaining undecided until the last match day. The pre-season preparations are still intense, both on training pitches and in the transfer market. Every player will be eager to turn up for the top tier of Spanish football, which over the years has seen star after star make their mark on world football through this league.

Kylian Mbappe is the joint most-valuable player in the league even before he has even started playing for Real Madrid. Despite having an underwhelming Euros tournament owing to a nose injury, Mbappe’s previous season with PSG saw the 25-year-old score 44 goals from 48 games across the competition.

Signing his five-year deal with Los Blancos, Mbappe completed his lifelong ambition to be part of the side. It will be interesting to see how the defending champions use their star lineup that already has the likes of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius J,r, and Rodrygo.

4. Robin le Normand

Robin le Normand made his move to Atletico Madrid after Colchoneros reached an agreement with his former club, Real Sociedad. The 27-year-old was pivotal in Spain’s fourth Euro trophy this summer in Germany, where his side won every game of the competition. In six games, he made seven tackles and recovered the ball 27 times.

For Sociedad, Le Normand played in 221 games and helped them win the 2021 Copa del Rey. Last season, he made 28 starts of his 29 appearances for his club, recording 28 interceptions, 31 tackles, and 94 clearances to his name. In the form that he is, he will be expected to start in his club immediately given that he is one of the defenders who is on the rise more recently.

3. Nico Williams

Last season, Nico Williams scored 19 goals across the season for Athletic, helping them win the Copa del Rey trophy for the 24th time. He continued his brilliant form in the Euro 2024, scoring the opening goal in the Euro 2024 final for Spain. He formed a brilliant partnership in the wings with Lamine Yamal. If he decides to move to Barcelona, he could recreate the partnership with Yamal and be a lethal combination for the opponents.

However, he could stay back at Athletic and play another season with his brother, Inaki Williams. The 22-year-old has expressed doubts about joining Hansi Flick’s side, and his joining has been under the spotlight for a while now.

2. Alexander Sorlorth

Alexander Sorlorth was in red-hot form for Villareal during the previous season, scoring 26 times in 41 games across the competition. During La Liga, his peak performance came when he scored four goals within 17 minutes against Real Madrid to end the game in a draw, putting him in a race for the season’s Golden Boot.

Recently, he has generated interest from quite a few teams, which include Roma and Atletico Madrid. There have been rumours about his move to West Ham. Villareal have stated that the 28-year-old won’t be sold below £32m and though Roma will try to negotiate down Sorloth’s release clause, the former are unlikely to move from their stand.

1. Endrick

Brazil forward signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid and will move from Sao Paulo-based club Palmeiras. He is a graduate of the Palmeiras academy and has scored 21 goals in 82 appearances for Palmeiras. He has scored thrice for his nation in 10 games and is the youngest male player to ever score an international goal at Wembley.

He will have a star bench to take experience from, with Real Madrid having recently signed France’s captain Mbappe. However, the star-studded bench also means that there will be a lot of competition, and Endrick will need to keep his form from Copa America and make an impact on the squad quickly.

As the La Liga starts in a few weeks time, here are some players who have been in good form recently and will be impactful for their club from the word go.  Football Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
