Born on February 12, 1993, in a village in Punjab’s Ferozpur, Bishnoi is the son of a police constable for the Haryana Police. In 2011, he met Goldy Brar, another gangster.
When did he begin his criminal activities?
Between 2010 and 2012, Bishnoi started his crimes in Chandigarh and FIRs were registered against him for crimes including robbery, attempted murder, trespassing, and assault. At that time, he was also involved in student politics. He formed alliances with criminals behind bars during his time in jail. He met with arms dealers and other local criminals after his release from jail and considerably increased the size of his gang.
The assassination attempt on Salman Khan

Sidhu Moose Wala’s assassination
Renowned Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was assassinated on May 29, 2022, in Punjab’s Mansa and Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the shooting and said that he made the plot with Bishnoi. He was in Tihar Jail when the shooting took place. In 2023, his gang killed Khalistani separatist Sukhdool Singh Gill and Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the President of Karni Sena. Bishnoi is currently lodged in Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad.
