New Delhi: Mitchell Marsh scored his maiden hundred in the Indian Premier League in the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
The Australian took 56 deliveries to reach the triple figures with the help of 10 boundaries and six sixes, becoming the first overseas batter to hit a ton in the ongoing edition of the tournament.
The 33-year-old joined his brother Shaun to be among 11 Aussie batter to score centuries in the tournament.
The right handed opener has been in hot form for LSG this season, and has scored over 500 runs for the first time in his IPL career.
In 12 innings so far, he has amassed 559 runs at an average of 50.81 and a strike rate of 162.97.
He completed his hundred in the 17th over with a single of Arshad Khan towards deep point.
