New Delhi: The ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 League has come to center stage for strange reasons. In the match no.5 between Samp Army and New York Strikers played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, a no-ball has turned into a laughing stock or in other words it has brought questions over match-fixing possibility.
The moment happened in the fourth over of the New York Strikers innings, UAE international pace bowler Hazrat Bilal came to bowl his first over. While bowling the fourth ball of the over, Bilal stepped miles ahead of the permissible crease, accounting for an illegal delivery. Asif Ali took a single as the ball went to the fine leg fielder.

The massive no-ball bowled by the 36-year-old pacer initially left Samp Army opener Faf du Plessis in splits on the field after the replays were shown on the big screen of the venue. New York Strikers player Sunil Narine also couldn’t control his laughter in the dugout. However, many viewers of the game were left bewildered with the big error of the player. Some questioned whether it was a move linked to a possibility of a match-fixing case while some were left curious of how a player could make such a big mistake.
Surely this is fixing.
