Dehradun: The 38th National Games will conclude in Uttarakhand tomorrow, Friday, on 14 February. To mark this occasion, the Chief Minister of Meghalaya has been invited to the closing ceremony in Haldwani, where the flag of the National Games will be handed over to him.

Dr. PT Usha met with officials of the State Olympic Association and the National Sports Federation at the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium. During the meeting, they discussed the progress of the 38th National Games. Dr. Usha praised the hospitality of Uttarakhand and the successful organization of the games. She emphasized that the state should continue its efforts to promote sports culture.
Challenges and future improvements
The meeting also addressed some challenges faced during the sporting event. Members present shared their suggestions to improve future editions of the National Games. Members of various sub-committees of the IOA and the Games Technical Conduct Committee attended the meeting. The aim was to strengthen the sports system in India.

Home Minister Amit Shah will be the Chief Guest, and Bollywood singer Sukhwinder, along with Kumaoni actress Shweta Mahara and the Digari Group, will perform.
