The Saudi side were also looking to sign the experienced Slovak, Milan Skriniar from Paris Saint-Germain, but the deal fell off and instead they went for Simakan. The 24 year old Frenchman was a solid asset for the German side RB Leipzig, as he spent three full seasons at Die Roten Bullen, where he made a total of 122 appearances, including the two additional appearances this season before joining the Saudi side. He can turn out to be a solid signing for Luis Castro’s side as he still has a lot of time to develop. He has also spent a good few years at RC Strasbourg Alsace, where he was a part of the youth team.
