New Delhi: The Indian Railways is set to revise the speeds of the Vande Bharat Express and Rajdhani Express trains from August 15, 2024, to nearly 160 kmph from the current speeds of 130 kmph, This is likely to slash the travel time between Delhi and Mumbai by 4 hours.
The 12951 Mumbai Central Delhi Rajdhani Express and 12953 Nizamumddin Mumbai Central train cover the distance between the 2 cities in 16 hours. This may be slashed to 12 hours of travel time from August 15, 2024.
