New Delhi: A historic boxing fight is almost finalised as UFC superstar Conor McGregor will make his return to combat sports and will fight against Logan Paul in a boxing match. McGregor confirmed that Asia’s richest family Ambani’s will host his next fight in India and now he confirmed the cash prize and venue for his comeback fight.
India’s iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will host the high-anticipating boxing match between McGregor and Logan. McGregor has been out of combat sports since his last fight against Dustin Poirier in 2021.
In his last fight, he suffered a leg injury and was out of action for almost three years. McGregor announced his return in January 2024 as he was scheduled to fight against Michael Chandler in the UFC 303 International fight event but he pulled out from the fight.
According to reports both fights will generate around Rs. 21,348 crore in a mega-money showdown in India. Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani initiated the plan to host the biggest fight in boxing history in India as he wants to set new standards for sporting mega events hosted in India.

Logan is also a global star and he has made his name in combat sports by fighting against notable opponents like Floyd Mayweather, Dillon Danis, and KSI. Logan also defeated McGregor’s close friend Dillion and McGregor will look to avenge his friend’s loss to Logan.
The combat sports world will be eager for the historic night at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This fight will also be a milestone in India’s sporting history as combat sports are not much popular in India.
