New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was in New Delhi to invite KC Venugopal and Sonia Gandhi for Telangana formation day celebrations on June 2.
Speaking to the media in Delhi, he said that he was not involved in the investigation of the phone-tapping case. Taking a dig at BRS and KTR, he said, “BRS used to want a CBI investigation for everything. Why don’t KTR and Harish Rao want an investigation for phone-tapping?
This matter came to light due to a complaint that some items were missing in the transfer that took place after the change of power. The issue of tapping came out when they were trying to find out who was responsible.”
Revanth Reddy said that his government does not allow phone tapping. However, he said the phones of terrorists can be tapped.
‘No power cuts in Telangana’
Addressing electricity issues in the state at the peak of summer, Reddy said that there are no power cuts. “Despite the increase in electricity consumption in the state, we are supplying it without deficit. If the supply stops temporarily due to unexpected problems, there will be disruption until it is repaired. He said that the average consumption of electricity has increased from 100 to 140 mw.”
