New Delhi: India and Germany’s diplomatic and economic ties will strengthen further through TV9 Network’s News9 Global Summit, with its 2024 edition being held in Stuttgart’s MHP Arena from November 21 to 23 in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the summit key note on ‘India: Inside the Global Bright Spot’.
This edition of the summit will be a great opportunity to highlight India’s rising status in world order to a global, in particular and European, audience. Top names from the corporate world and policy leaders of both India and Germany will converge in the summit and discuss on the theme of India and Germany: A Roadmap for Sustainable Growth.
The summit will be held shortly after German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s fruitful trip of India where he led a business delegation, which identified India as an potential destination for investment.

Taking that cue, the News9 Summit will delve on issues of convergence in business, economy, technology, sports, culture and much more. Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw and Union Minister for Communications, and Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya M Scindia will represent the Indian government while Winfried Kretschmann, Minister-President, Baden-Wurttemberg will grace the event from the German side.
Four-time world champions Germany has taken a keen interest to develop India as a footballing nation. They have taken initiatives to develop talented youth into stars and promote them, with the hope of seeing them excel in Germany in the years to come.
Bundesliga’s chief marketing officer Peer Naubert, who played an active role in News9 Plus Corporate Cup’s winning team’s trip to Germany in May last year, is one of the key speakers in the panel discussion titled ‘India As A Footballing Nation: A German Template’. Accompanying him as guest speakers will be Kay Dammholz, Director – Media Rights of German Football Association (DFB), Rouven Kasper, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of Bundesliga side VFB Stuttgart and Anuj Gupta, President of Delhi Soccer Association and Co-founder and President of Indian football club Sudeva Delhi FC.
