Through online platforms
One can open international trading accounts through online platforms such as Groww and Angel. The application process can be done in minutes. But to invest directly, one has to open an international trading account certain formalities have to be completed. Applicants have to furnish KYC documents (PAN, Aadhaar card, Voter’s Card and/or driving license) and details of bank accounts.
Through brokerage firms
Citizens of India can also open an overseas account through domestic brokerage firms such as ICICI Direct, HDFC Securities, Kotak Securities, Axis Securities.
