New Delhi: After the disappointing T20 World Cup campaign, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced an action-packed home season schedule. The Men in Green will face Bangladesh in the two-match test series from August 21 to September 3.
Pakistan will play three test matches against England starting from October 7. Their last test assignment at home will be against West Indies in January. The home season also features an ODI tri-series between New Zealand, South Africa and Pakistan just before the Champions Trophy which is scheduled to start on February 19.
Pakistan men’s cricket team is also set to tour Australia, Zimbabwe and South Africa from November to January. The Men in Green will play three ODIs and three T20Is against Australia from November 4 to November 18. They will also play a three-match ODI and T20I series against Zimbabwe from 24 November to 5 December.
Babar Azam and Co. will also face South Africa in three ODIs, three T20Is and two Test matches. Pakistan failed to qualify for the semi-final of the 2023 ODI World Cup in India. They also failed to make it to the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 after losing the first two matches against the USA and India.
