Rituals and Worship (Puja Vidhi) for Parivartini Ekadashi 2024

On the day of Parivartini Ekadashi, devotees should begin their day early during Brahma Muhurta by taking a bath. Following this, they should set up an idol or image of Lord Vishnu in a clean, sacred space. Lord Vishnu’s image should depict him holding a conch, disc, mace, and lotus in his four hands.

Light a ghee lamp and incense before the deity, offering fruits, flowers, and sweets. Devotees are encouraged to chant mantras like “Om Namo Narayanaya Namah” and “Om Vishnave Namah” to seek divine blessings. Listening to the story of Parivartini Ekadashi and performing the Vishnu Aarti marks the conclusion of the worship.

After completing the fast on Ekadashi, devotees should partake in food on Dwadashi (the next day) and offer donations to Brahmins as this is considered highly auspicious.
