Seeb: Apple, symbolising beauty, health, and knowledge.
Serkeh: Vinegar, representing age and experience.
Sir: Garlic, symbolising good health and protection against evil.
Summaq: Sumac berry, representing sunrise and patience.
Community gatherings and festive meals are central to Navroz celebrations. The day is marked by a lavish feast featuring Parsi specialities such as Prawn Patio, Mori Dar, Patra Ni Macchi, farcha, egg patties, mithu dahi, sali boti, and jardaloo chicken.
In cities with large Parsi populations, such as Mumbai and Pune, elaborate events including cultural performances, traditional dances, and communal feasts take place.
