New Delhi: Telugu Titans star raider Pawan Sehrawat will again lead his side in the Pro Kabaddi League season 11. Pawan and Titans coach Randhir both expressed their excitement before the mega contest against Bengaluru Bulls in the opening match of PKL 2024. Titans will be in front of their home crowd as the first leg of PKL 11 is set to be hosted by Hyderabad and the Titans coach shared his view on the importance of fan support.
Randhir backed the statement of fans’ support that ‘it is very important to get fans support, it’s our venue, it’s our home, so we will benefit from that. And we’re up against Bengaluru Bulls, my former team, where I played two seasons ago. So, it will be a very good match, and I am excited to play in front of the coach.”
Pawan also shared his view that the Titan’s raiding department does not only rely on him. Titans had a solid group of raiders and supporting raiders like Vijay, Ashish, Manjeet, Sanjeev, Praful, and Omkar. According to Pawan PKL has evolved over the years for raiders as how he played his debut match in PKL season 3 isn’t the same anymore as now in every season young talents come with some new skills that will be a challenge for every player to adapt.
Pawan also lauded Bengaluru Bulls star raider Pardeep Narwal that when he debuted in the season he had fewer skills but now after he gained experience he gained many new skills and the same goes for him as well. After playing seven PKL seasons Pawan’s speed and skills both have improved and has gained experience over the years.
The Hi-flyer had a great previous PKL edition, he made 217 raid points but his team finished at the bottom of the table by winning only two matches in the league stage.
Telugu Titans skipper and star raider is very excited for the upcoming Pro Kabaddi League season, Pawan Sehrawat and co. will take on Bengaluru Bulls in the opening match of PKL 2024 on October 18, Friday.
