New Delhi: The renowned Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan, formerly known as the Mughal Gardens, will welcome visitors during the spring season from 2 February to 30 March 2025. This historic garden, celebrated for its stunning beauty and rich cultural significance, will be open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to experience its lush landscapes and vibrant blooms.

Dates and Timings for Amrit Udyan
The President’s Secretariat announced on Monday that the gardens will be open to visitors six days a week, with Mondays reserved for maintenance. The garden will open on 2 February 2025 (Sunday) and remain accessible to the public until 30 March 2025 (Monday). Visitors can explore the garden daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Closure Dates
Amrit Udyan will be closed on the following dates:
- 5 February: Closed for Delhi Legislative Assembly Elections.
- 20 and 21 February: Closed for the Visitors’ Conference at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
- 14 March: Closed for Holi.
Amrit Udyan Tickets and Entry
Visitors can enter the garden through Gate No 35 of the President’s Estate. To facilitate access, a shuttle bus service will operate from the Central Secretariat Metro Station to the garden entrance every 30 minutes, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Tickets can be booked online free of charge at the official Rashtrapati Bhavan website: https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in/. Alternatively, tickets can be obtained at the kiosk outside the garden entrance. Visitors are required to register their details to receive an entry pass.
Special dates and timings have been arranged for specific categories of visitors:
- 26 March: Differently-abled individuals.
- 27 March: Personnel from defence, paramilitary, and police forces.
- 28 March: Women and tribal women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
- 29 March: Senior citizens.

Two major metro stations are located nearby, providing convenient access for visitors:
- Central Secretariat Metro Station: 2.0 km.
- Shivaji Stadium Metro Station: 2.0 km.
