New Delhi: Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of the prominent public sector banks in the country, has launched a special retail loan campaign, ‘PNB NIRMAAN 2025’. The bank is aiming at making home and car ownership more affordable for its customers. The press release from the lender informed that the campaign is available across all PNB branches and digital platforms – PNB One app and official portal.
The bank has launched PNB NIRMAAN 2025 to attract people planning to take loans for purchase of homes, cars and students seeking financial assistance. The benefits of the time bound campaign are as follows:
PNB will not incur any charge on processing and documentation on home and car loans.
The bank will levy charges on No Encumbrance Certificate, legal, and valuation fees for home loan takeovers above a specified amount
In addition to these benefits, the bank will provide 5 basis point interest rate concessions on home, car, and education loans, subject to applicable terms and conditions, it added.
After the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced a repo rate cut, several banks have cut the loan rates.
PNB Marginal Cost of Funds based Lending Rate with effect effective from April 1, 2025:
Overnight: 8.40 percent
One month: 8.50 percent
Three month: 8.70 percent
Six month: 8.90 percent
One year: 9.05 percent
Three years: 9.35 percent
