China: Commuters on a China Highway witnessed something unexpected when a septic tank ‘Poo Volcano’ bursted, leading to terrible, dirty waste rain, in one of the worst experience for anyone in the vicinity. The incident, which took place in Guangxi, was captured on camera.
A road in China‘s Guangxi suffered septic tank explosion whose sewage system had recently got an upgrade after a new section of pipe was laid alongside a busy highway.
When it was being tested, thousands of liters of hot, pressurised sewage were propelled through the pipe with extreme force and it turned out that the pipe was not able to handle it. The pipe ruptured, sending a horrible dark orange cloud of human waste over 10 meters into the air. The force was so great that a mechanical digger was overturned at the epicenter of the industrial shart and several passing cars were blown off course.
The impact of the pipe outburst was so huge that it started raining human waste. It fell on pedestrians, windshield of several vehicles passing around that area.
According to RT, “Local authorities have said that no one was injured in the poo explosion, but that appears to be of little solace to those caught in its putrid aftermath. As one driver put it: ‘I’m drenched in poo, my car is splattered yellow. It’s ruined.”
