New Delhi: The Indian Olympic heroes Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh posed for a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower after the conclusion of their events at the Paris Olympics 2024. Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal in the men’s javelin throw final.

PR Sreejesh also played a crucial role for the Indian men’s hockey team, which won their second consecutive bronze medal in the Olympics. Neeraj and Sreejesh thrilled Indian fans by posing for pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Sreejesh announced his retirement before the start of the Paris Olympics 2024 and said he is grateful for the love and support of his family, teammates, coaches and fans.

The Indian goalkeeper pulled off some crucial saves during the group-stage match against Australia and in the penalty shoot-out against Great Britain in the quarterfinal.

Meanwhile, Neeraj Chopra also recorded a season-best throw of 89.45 meters and won the silver medal. Pakistan Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal with a throw of 92.97m.

PR Sreejesh, Manu Bhaker named as India’s flag bearer

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) named shooter Manu Bhaker and PR Sreejesh as flagbearers of the country in the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024.

Manu Bhaker won two bronze medals in the women’s 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team event with Sarabjot Singh while Sreejesh retired from hockey after the Indian team defeated Spain 2-1 in the bronze medal match.
