New Delhi: Liverpool showed no mercy at Old Trafford, where they battered Manchester United 3-0, as United were left shocked on the pitch. United just didn’t have an answer to the questions that Liverpool asked, and it was a completely one sided game from the very start. The Reds started the scoring, courtesy of Luiz Diaz, who was found by Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian winger lobbed a pass into the United box where Diaz managed to reach just in time to head it past Onana to make it 1-0 in the 35th minute.
United just couldn’t get their chances as Liverpool completely bossed the midfield where United felt handcuffed. However, Liverpool managed to score again as Diaz was in target for the second time. The Colombian completed his brace in minutes before half time. Casemiro was shrugged off the ball by Diaz, as the Brazilian was already having a nightmare on the pitch. Diaz then charged towards the box, linking up with Salah yet again, to produce a beautiful curling finish to make it 2-0. United were left to wonder what they need to do to get their creativity in play.
However, Mohamed Salah further added to United’s miseries as he added a third in front of Old Trafford as Dominik Szoboszlai received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and he shifted it to the right, finding the Egyptian who finished it with precision to give Liverpool a 3-0 lead. It seemed like the game was over for United at that moment. The tiredness and demotivation was clearly evident on the faces of the United players and the match ended 3-0, as the home fans were left frustrated and disappointed.

Yet another Liverpool game and yet another top class performance by their Egyptian star Mohamed Salah. Salah just loves playing at Old Trafford and he produced yet another wonderful performance against the Red Devils, as he made his presence felt in all three goals that Liverpool managed to score. The 32 year old winger assisted the first goal scored by Luiz Diaz, as he managed to lob a ball into the penalty area finding the Colombian, who headed the ball into the open net to make it 1-0.
He was again involved in the second goal where he managed to combine with Diaz yet again as the Colombian produced a neat finish to beat Onana making it 2-0 for Liverpool. The third goal was scored by the Egyptian king himself as he produced a precise finish after Szoboszlai found him all alone at the right side, where he made no mistake in putting the ball past the United keeper. It is interesting to see how the Liverpool veteran is still producing the goods for the Reds as a few weeks back, there were rumours of him movinf to Saudi League. However, he has pretty much made it clear that he is here to stay and the Egyptian will certainly be a major factor for Liverpool this season.
